The Tax Planning and Reporting for a Small Business module provides an overview of tax planning and reporting and how it affects business.
After completing this module, the participants will be able to:
• Identify the federal tax requirements of a small business and its owner, and establish a plan to account for and pay for federal taxes.
• Identify the general state and local tax requirements of a small business, and establish a plan to account for and pay for these taxes.
• Identify methods for researching the local, municipal, and county reporting/licensing requirements for a small business.
