Community Economic Development Program, Division of Extension, University of Wisconsin-Madison
About
The Community Economic Development (CED) program is a valuable resource to Wisconsin communities, providing support directly to entrepreneurs and working with the organizations and decision-makers that support entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. With county-based educators located across the state and specialists ready to answer questions and offer technical expertise, the CED program helps entrepreneurs make informed decisions and provides educational programming and technical assistance to entrepreneurs – particularly those entrepreneurs from underserved communities and niche audiences such as people of color, childcare providers, nonprofits, and food businesses. UW Extension’s CED program also supports thriving communities by focusing on research and educational programming that creates and strengthens the conditions for entrepreneurial growth and strong entrepreneurial networks.
